To be honest, this doesn't at all stand up to the second Sparkle game at all. The music is decent, although the graphics are a bit painful to look at, especially how much the Illuminati centipede glows. Two of them being the flower ones where you have to get through tunnels, the other being the maze one with the jellyfish. By the time you're at the maze jelly fish one, you're rather long, and if the tip of your tail so much as taps the tip of a jellyfish then you're sent to a level below. Needless to say, this is rather frustrating. I know that I haven't played for 10 hours or so, however I'm not going to spend that much time on a game that's more frustrating than it is relaxing.In short, this game doesn't live up to the previous Sparkle game, and it lacks the soothing/calming effects of previous games.. Very good game ^^. It plays about how you would expect. Gameplay is pretty much as in-the-box as you can get and feels very simplistic. It's probably not something you're going to want to play for anything more than an hour, but nothing about Sparkle 3 Genesis is actually bad.It's not a bad game to play in the background, but it's definitely not a game to which you would want to dedicate a significant amount of attention.. This is a beautiful game. The colors and the music are very relaxing. Great way to unwind after a long day. Played this some on Switch, since I got it for like $1 there. Forgot why I hadn't continued it on Steam.Got to the third level as a blue life-form, started the Spiky Rivers objective (a requirement).After about 20 failures, I want my money back. That's right.
